The amount of overlap in geek personal histories around the world never ceases to amaze me. Tonight on IRC, Adrian and Julian were talking about ancient history, particularly about hacking z80s and Julian teaching Adrian about how pointers work.
In the non-geek world, this is probably approximately equivalent to finding out about how girls work.
Funny how life history "maps" even across oceans. I'm unlikely to forget my discovery of pointers either. :-) Life is all about milestones...
