Next week, after AsiaBSDCon, I'm off for a week of sightseeing in Kyoto. With a little help from George and the ladies from JTB, I got the very last available room at the Karasuma Kyoto Hotel. It appears to be the busy season. The rates are fairly acceptable though.
Roaming around Japan with practically zero knowledge of the language, is yet more proof that the linguistic racists of N-VA, Vlaams Blok ^W Belang and friends back home are being completely stupid. Language matters not at all. Making yourself understood does. Stupid people suck. Leave our planet in general and country in particular alone.
But I digress...
AsiaBSDCon is going very well. More people seem to have arrived. This morning, Kirk and George signed my copy of their book. Only about three years after I bought it. I've been very good at forgetting the book when going to conferences!
Currently, I'm listening to a talk about NetBSD/ia64. And here I was thinking that architecture was dead and burried...
